Ferrymen's Hall

What is Ferrymen's Hall all About?

Named to recognize the ferry service that operated until 1990 between Grand Narrows & Iona, Ferrymen's Hall is the home base for activities at the Grand Narrows waterfront. The hall provides panoramic views and is an ideal setting for smaller meeting and functions. Please inquire: GNWDS@hotmail.com

Wheelhouse Cafe - Ferrymen's Hall

The Wheelhouse Cafe is located inside Ferrymen's Hall. The cafe has grown over the years from a small ice cream shop to a licensed eating establishment with a large outdoor patio. The Cafe serves stone baked pizza, fish & chips, sandwiches, salads, baked goods and more. The Wheelhouse Cafe is an initiative of the Grand Narrows Waterfront Dev. Society.

Interpretive Displays

Over the Years we have been fortunate to document much of the history of the Grand Narrows area and gather photos which depict a rich and thriving community "back in the day". Many of the photos showing the ferry service are on display in, what we call the "Chart Room", inside Ferrymen's Hall. Interpretive Panels are mounted at various locations around the old ferry wharf area. See below...
